I am a retired biochemist. We moved to Taos, New Mexico USA from Dallas, Texas in November 2022. It is especially scenic here.

I started photography in 1982 when I spent a year in Beijing, China. We visited China several times since then, and in 2008-2010 we spent several months each year in Hangzhou. My last trip to China in 2014 included a memorable visit to Tibet.

I have also spent several months in Germany in 2000, 2002, and 2017. We were able to visit many European countries at that time. My last international trips were in 2018 to Ireland and Scotland, and 2023 to Vienna, Prague and Budapest.

In the future I plan to visit scenic places in the western USA.
