What we are all about:

ID study association is one of the largest, most active, and most fun student associations of Delft. ID is unique in its kind. The association has grown to an active and large association since 1973, with 2800 members in 2024. Among those members are 140 people in 23 different committees who work hard to make all events and activities to a great success. To achieve this, the association also has eight enthusiastic full-time board members that keep the association running.

The association is for students Industrial Design Engineering and its main goal is to look after the students’ concerns. ID does this by creating the possibility to undertake broadening activities during your study. You can think of improving contact between students and faculty employees, and facilitating contact with other faculties and studies. Also ID offers students the possibility to make contact with different companies during, for example, company visits.

The association is very active in giving form to the education program as well. ID Education also tries to spot students’ complaints and to solve the existing problems.

ID Education represents all Industrial Design Engineering Students in several committees and talks with the faculty about upcoming education decisions.

Student association also offers its members the possibility to organize all kinds of activities during their study. The goal of these activities is to broaden and complement the education given. You can learn a lot from organizing such and most of all: its just a very fun thing to do!
