I'm a linguist from Canada, living in Melbourne, Australia. A lot of these pics are from my fieldwork in Papua New Guinea and other related travels.

My photography is basically of the point and shoot type, though I have recently bought a dSLR, which I'm trying to learn to use better. This Flickr account is mostly a record of my travels. I use my Flickr page to share photos with friends and family overseas and also to store my photos. So I post both the good and the bad! However, I do have another Flickr account where I am focusing more on my favourite pictures - and the pictures where I'm focusing more on my photography rather than just the content of my pictures. (Though eventually I'd like to be able to focus more on both at the same time.)
