I'm a photojournalist based in Washington, DC and available for reportage and editorial assignments worldwide. I have recently worked on stories including water pollution in China, Latino gang violence in Oregon and outsourcing in India.

My work has been featured in The New York Times, Time Magazine Online, Newsweek, The Atlantic Monthly, Forbes, The Washington Post, Der Spiegel, The London Sunday Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Toronto Globe and Mail, The Advocate and many other publications worldwide. While based in Portland, Oregon I worked for the Pulitzer-Prize winning Willamette Week, completing over 300 assignments for them, including 20 cover stories.

I am credentialed with the US Senate and House of Representatives, fully digital, and able to wirelessly transmit images.

I recently taught photography to people experiencing homelessness in Portland, Oregon, and the end result was PhotoVoice, a traveling exhibit featuring the participants' work. I've also written a book about digital photography for Sony ImageStation.
