Greetings! I'm a Boston-area artist and illustrator. Through creating, I translate my unique joys into something that [I hope] others can relate to. My participation projects often feature hands-on tinkering, creative play, opportunities for self-expression, and community collaboration.

I'm an active member of NELUG (the New England LEGO Users Group) and have been part of the adult LEGO fan community since 1995. I co-created and ran LUGNET (the LEGO Users Group Network)—an early online community for adult enthusiasts. I've worked for the LEGO Company as a freelance illustrator/designer and was a LEGO researcher in the MIT Media Lab's Lifelong Kindergarten group (where LEGO Logo, Mindstorms, and Scratch originated).

In recent years, I've refreshed my interest in representational art through drawing, painting, and photography. Nature is often my muse when working in traditional media, while the colorful system of LEGO bricks acts as a more interactive, humorous, and decorative pursuit.
