Former northerner (Lincoln/Stockport) now comfortably settled just south of the Quantocks.

Spent mid 70's on trips to West Country trying to catch last days of the Westerns before then moving south to Gatwick and Heathrow to work in aviation. In 2009, I 'retired' to the West Country - enjoying my old stomping ground albeit with Flying Bananas everywhere - sadly now being replaced by the Hitachi downgrades.

My buddy name is based on most northerners wry description of those who live in the south, with a spelling to reflect the likely pronunciation!

Recently raided the attic and dug out many old slides and negatives plus Santa brought me an Ion Pics converter so decided to join Flickr and share some of the piccys. Hope some of you find enjoyment from my treasured memories - much better than being stuck in the attic.

All photos after January 1st 1975 were taken with an Olympus FTL camera with either a 50mm or 135mm lens. Anything prior to this was taken with a basic Instamatic camera.
