Susanne is a retired clinical psychologist who lives in Portland, Oregon. She has traveled to many parts of the world and collected ancient, antique, vintage and contemporary glass beads as well as other tribal jewelry for more than 30 years. She combines semi-precious stones as well as other ethnic or tribal, mostly sterling silver jewelry components with this wide variety of glass beads to create unique jewelry designs. Most of these necklaces have a folk art feel with bold contemporary appeal. Matching bracelets and earrings are available upon request.

Susanne has also collected a variety of antique and vintage tribal and folk art pieces over the years such as sculptures and textiles (both flat woven and knotted), embroideries, kilims, dhuries, carpets as well as other tribal utilitarian or ceremonial objects.
