My name is Susan, and I am the proud mom to 3 sons; Zach-26, Ben-24, and Josh-10. I am also mom to several critters; 3 dogs, 5 cats, a bird, a turtle, a tank full of fish, guinea pigs...oh yeah, and 2 skinks. I am the proud owner of several grey hairs which I protect judiciously...I worked damn hard for em, they are mine, and they STAY!! I am a left-of-Hillary liberal and have serious issues with my country...and am not afraid to admit it. I believe in humanity and a world community, and I teach my children compassion and about being human. There is no room for bigotry in my world, and I DESPISE the word "tolerance" with regard to other races, gays, etc. I tolerate a headache, or a smoker in the park, but I ACCEPT all humans, and teach my children the same.

I had gastric bypass surgery on 8-12-04 and have shed 140 lbs. It has been the best thing I have ever done for myself and my family, and I have no regrets whatsoever.
