Hello, my name is Susan and I have been on Flickr for almost a year now. I have NEVER owned a camera before now, and I have NEVER taken photos. This is all so new to me, and I just want to say that I am having the BEST time! I shoot with a Nikon D40. I have found something that is a true passion. My eyes are wide open, looking, learning, listening and exploring places that I never took notice of before. I am a single mom of two incredible boys! My oldest is serving in the United States Air Force, and I couldn't be prouder mom. Flickr friends are truly amazing! Thank you so much for all the comments and advice, for the love and support. Incredible friendships made right here! Life is a true blessing!

When I discovered Susan's photostream, I was mesmerized by the beauty she is able to capture and portray in her photographs with her own wonderful, unique style. I was later absolutely blown away to discover that she hasn't been taking photographs for very long! Trust me, this lady was obviously born to have the camera in her hands, because she started producing outstanding, creative, and beautiful photos almost immediately. Not only is she bursting with talent, she is bursting with class and consideration. She takes the time to leave true, heartfelt comments on her contacts' (I call her a friend) photos, and she goes beyond that and takes the time to actually get to know you as a person. Susan hasn't been on flickr long but her enthusiasm and new found love for photography is more than apparent. I feel blessed that we connected soon after she joined flickr and I have been enjoying her journey with her camera. Sue has a great eye and captures images that touch her heart, she's also very generous and giving with her support and encouragement of other people's work. I can't wait for the day that she calls me and says she's getting on a flight out west to go shooting with us out here in the Northwest!!
