I have always had a great love of the natural world and that has been the focus of much of my photography. Pre-digital age, I had a SLR but became discouraged with my results in challenging low light and bird photography. I got sick of lugging all the gear around and so spent about 20 years using compact cameras. In Feb 2013, I bought a Nikon D7000 and went on a big learning curve with that. Since then, I progressed to a Nikon D7100, then a Nikon D7500 and now have bought a Nikon D500.
