I shoot mostly architecture and landscapes using a Nikon DSLR. I went totally digital in 2008 and was so impressed by the results that I never used a film camera again. I caught the photography bug in my 'teens and my first proper camera was the budget Russian Zenit followed by the fabulous Olympus OM1 which was replaced by a Nikon FE after a few years. The first autofocus SLR was a Nikon F90 and the last 35mm film camera I used was the highly capable F100. My first DSLR was the budget Nikon D5000, then upgraded to the Nikon D7000 then a Nikon D7100 but now use the full-frame Nikon D610 rather than a D850. I don't need more than 24 megapixels for full-frame for my type of photography. I have stayed with Nikon as I still have lenses going back to the '80s and don't want to sell them. I hope to start using a mirrorless camera soon maybe switching systems to Fujifilm medium format.

The beauty of your work brings tears to my eyes....As an American I can't help but to think how much more educated our own children might be if more of their history classes were not told by such photography. My heart smiles to see such beauty. Thank You.
