Born in India, I have always been fascinated about anything concerning the wilderness. Be it the woods, or the streams, or the hills, or the birds or the bees! I remember wildlife experiences that happened when i was perhaps 1-2 years. I keep memories of my endeavours in the wilds as something very special for years and years. Photography is not a profession but a medium to document my sightings. I believe strongly in conserving what is naturally around us and am extremely emotive about destructions all around. But a few hours of solitude amongst India's mega fauna and bewildering birds, sets my heart beating once again. I have been fortunate and blessed to have extensively travelled across India and have witnessed some of the rarest moments on the wildlife canvas. From the Himalayas, to the Indo-Gangetic Plains, to the steaming rain forests of the North-East India and the Western Ghats, to the tranquil of the reservoirs and lakes, I have seen many. I have been involved in conservation activities since very young and I dream and sleep about saving India's wildlife. I hope that people who access my pictures will do that extra bit for conserving our fast vanishing wilderness. Can there be a better way to live than to realise that we are mere players in the gigantic theatre of creation and where we are so insignificant if we chose to be silent spectators but stand out and get noticed when we flex our will power to contribute positvely!
