Swansea University Race Engineering is a team that competes in the Formula Student Competition run by the IMechE.

The team consists of roughly 50 students from a range of subjects and levels within the university.

The aim of the competition is to design, build and race a single seat racing car within a year, following real industry procedures. Car components are designed, manufactured or bought, costed and assembled to make the final product.
