I'm nearly 30. My only art for a long time was my writing. I've recently discovered a passion for photography as well.

I'm learning as I go - lots of my shots are auto, the ones I'm trying to learn things on are usually manual shot. I shoot with a Sony DSC-H50 Superzoom Point and Shoot. I don't have full manual focal control, but otherwise it's quite a good camera for a learning photographer.

I post all the passable shots to my account, including those taken by my wife and children. Photos are organized into sets so that my artsy photography can co-exist with my family snapshots to share with family. ( I guess I'm too cheap for a separate flickr account!)

Any time a photo isn't taken by me it's *usually* noted in the comments as long as it's after Spring 2009 -before that it's best guess.

Some photos have been taken with a borrowed Olympus E-410 DSLR - I'm not a huge fan of it, but it's let me stretch my creative legs, so to speak.
