"Hi, I was told to call in to check if anything had been returned before coming in"
"sure thing, what did you lose?"
"A black, sling back-pack with all my camera equipment inside"
"OH, can you describe the bag and its contents"
(I just did)
"well its a black lowepro bag, one shoulder strap, inside a canon camera and 3 lenses"
"One moment, I'll check to see if we've had anything come in"
"ma'am?"
"yeah"
"sorry, nothing matches"
(shuffle noise in the background, me ready to hang up defeated)
"WAIT! camera girl? are you still there?"
"yeah"
"we found it"
"WHAT?!?!?!"
"you must be one lucky kid..."
(faith in humankind restored-not that it was really shaken)
"uhh"
"seriously... what do you do for a living, make people's days?"
"nope, others do that"
Thus "Ta*ta" evolved to "Camera*Girl"
I am a big fan, and want to extend a thank you to les brumes for generously providing an excellent/wide variety of textures
Finally and most importantly, I want to thank BlaisOne for the gift of a pro account
Oh and for those of you wondering what's up with the funny numbering/notation of photos. In 2010 I attempted a 365 project. In the process I learned a lot about myself and reaffirmed some other things. In the end, I terminated the project prematurely but have since been able to better focus on smaller more satisfying projects

When I was a kid I remember thinking that every lil cell had an entire universe on it. If you dropped a bread crumb it would effect the countless worlds that lived on it. And that if someone dropped our bread crumb it would change this one. After getting to know this stream fairly well I now know all those worlds are contained in water droplets. And Demi knows how to capture them perfectly. She also knows how to share her world. Or her flying super hero version of it. Always bringing a smile to the viewers, Never hiding her own, and always pushing the exposure. This truly is a Camera Girl.
