I've had the privilege to "meet" Dave through his Flickr work and can say without hesitation that he's a very talented photographer. His photos resonate with the beauty of nature... and his ability to capture a moment as a permanent photo image is amazing. But what REALLY impresses me about the man is his courtesy and kindness that shows up daily with his repeated comments on other people's work here. It is clear that he takes a lot of time to view and comment on people because he wants them to know that someone cares about their "work" besides themselves. This is an even rarer talent that being a great photographer and we're VERY fortunate that Dave is both a class act as a human being...and a top notch photographer as well. His contributions to Flickr make it a better place for all....and he epitomizes what an "active" member of an online community should be...
