My name is Dani and I live in Boulder, CO with my husband Scott and 2 kitties (Soma and Kali). I have a B.S. and a Master’s degree in environmental science, but found that the life of a fiber artist suits me best. I currently own and operate Sunshine Yarns, a lil’ yarn company that creates unique and one-of-a-kind yarns.

I love to spend alot of time outdoors. I hike, run, bike and swim and am doing the Boulder Peak Triathalon this summer. We love to eat lots of healthy, local foods and have our very first organic garden going this year.

I am inspired by the natural world around me and find that I am happiest when exploring new places. Some of our most recent trips have taken us to Utah, Florida, Chicago, Alaska, Belize, Guatamala and Ireland. I spent time doing research in the Turks and Caicos, where I was able to snorkel to my hearts content.

I try to live my life in a happy way. I love my friends, my family, my work and my craft.
