I live on an island in the outskirts of Bergen, Norway. Married, with tree sons. My occupation has been teaching, mostly biology and chemistry, but now I'm retired.

I have always loved nature. Its diversity and complexity has impressed and amazed me again and again. Like a great work of art it told me that, wow - there must be a great Creator behind all this. And human beeings the masterpiece of it all.

So this is the basis of my photography.

I've also discovered that flickr is a nice way to get to know other people too!
