My family once knew me as someone who was "camera challenged" (in fact, my husband would buy me a new camera and tell me that all I had to do was "push a button"!) - a situation which I vowed to overcome someday.

I don't know if I will ever be all the way "there" , however I am thoroughly enjoying the process along the way.

I appreciate art & beauty in all forms, and as a former painter and sketch artist, have replaced my brush and pencil with my trusty camera.

I am obsessed with getting an image to reflect what I see in my minds eye, and also with finding moments in time where even the mundane is momentarily beautiful.

In 2012, out of the blue, I started taking pictures of vintage cars, and have not been able to stop since. There is something about a gleaming or even a well-used treasure from the past that gets my sense of aesthetics itching to capture a piece of it.

Even though making images of vintage vehicles is a favorite subject, I have many other areas of photographic interest as well.

As a side note: I have a parallel interest in writing, and own 2 ecommerce stores online, as well as my Etsy photography site.
