I am a veterinarian and a photographer. I am also a member of HeARTs Speak, a national organization of artists who give a voice to the homeless pets. I am also a member of the Michigan Triangle Professional Photographer's Association (MTPPA) and Professional Photographers of America (PPA). I am involved with HeARTs Speak, Mackenzie's Animal Sanctuary, Bark for Life, and Help-Portrait.

I love many things: first and foremost my husband, my family, my friends, and my pets. Close behind are photography, barbecued food, all the different seasons, music, art, pets!, Calvin and Hobbes, daisies, tea, Starbucks, my iPod, blue jeans and t-shirts, getting real mail, sledding, the beach, singing while I drive, wolves, traveling, roller coasters, writing and exchanging letters, the smell of coffee in the morning, sleeping in on Sundays, beautful piano music, the golden hour of sunlight just after sunrise and just before sunset, and much much more.
