As of the middle of 2016 I suppose I will describe myself as returning to photography after being away for almost 50 years earning a living. Retired now and living in Memphis Tennessee USA I am going back over past vacation photos taken with various point and shoot cameras (and a cell phone!) and trying with the help of Lightroom and Photoshop to salvage what I can. I have recently bought a full frame machine and in time hope to earn the respect that such a fine instrument deserves but I’ll let you be the judge of that. I fully realize that most of what you see posted here is severely limited by having been taken with low resolution partial frame cameras. There is a lot of noise with which Adobe can only do so much. Please be patient as I slowly add work with a better camera.

I very much enjoy the work you have done and I learn from you. You are my inspiration and I hope you will find the work I slowly add inspiring to you as well.

Please note; I am interested in learning so I do try to follow photographers that have similar interests AND who might therefore want to follow me. So If you want me to follow you and if we seem to have similar interests then please follow me and fav some of the shots you like best. When I get a fav I try to look at your work and understand why and fav something that I like of yours.

Recently I have purchased a full frame Pentax K1 camera. I felt that I had learned enough to warrant that step up. Everything I shoot now is in RAW format and I also have spent a good deal of time learning both Lightroom and PhotoShop and I use these software programs to bring out the best out of my images.
