The Summit Bechtel Scout Reserve is the Boy Scouts of America’s newest high-adventure base and the site of the National Jamboree, but simply put, The Summit is the future for Scouting action and adventure.

The Bechtel Summit is over 10,000 acres of outdoor adventure which is being prepared for the grand opening and inaugural National Jamboree in 2013. Until then, we thought we would share what we think makes the southern West Virginia back-country so special and exciting with these photos.
