I got my first ever camera when I was 8 years old in 3rd grade right before my trip to Oklahoma with my siblings. My uncle had told me to keep myself busy and away from the computer games, so he bought me a disposable Kodak camera to take pictures of his beautiful town - Talihina. Though a quiet and lonely town, I found myself busy taking pictures of almost everything and anything I could find - from curious baby skunks to magnificent mountains. Ever since then I was always interested in cameras and the way they work. It became sort of a hobby of mine.

I got my 1st digital camera, an Olympus FE00, X710, when I was in 8th grade. My school never provided photography classes, so I just ended up trying to teach myself through my peers critiques, manuals, my friends and their gorgeous DSLR cameras and my cousin's career as a photographer.

I began taking pictures of food quite a lot though they're not posted on flickr, here is my public facebook album link:

So now I practice and wait for the day I get to get my own DSLR.

Oh, and at the moment? I'm 17, going on 18 and ready to graduate already. (:
