Welcome to my photo stream. I am an amateur/hobbyist photographer Interested in Travel and Photography. I have already traveled through several parts of North America, Europe, Africa and the Asian subcontinent. You can find some of my photographs on my flickr stream and facebook page.

I use Giottos Air Blaster for cleaning/dust removal from my lenses & camera.

 

I plan to get into wildlife photography soon. For wildlife within short distance, my ideal lens would be Canon 300mm F/2.8 L II. However, my dream lens for wildlife photography would be the Canon 600mm F/4.0 L II. (If you are after a lighter package than 600mm, consider Canon 500mm F/4.0 L II)

 

If you want the absolute best portrait lens, look no further than Canon 200mm F/2.0 L IS.

PS: If you want the Nikon equivalents for my gear, here they are:

 

Nikon D800 (Equivalent to 5D Mark 3)

Nikon has no equivalent for Canon's MP-E 65 Macro lens. It does, however have an excellent 105mm f/2.8 macro.

 

If you are into sports or wildlife, you could also consider these excellent lenses from Nikon:

Nikon 200mm f/2.0 (Equivalent to Canon 200mm f/2.0)

Nikon 300mm f/2.8 (Equivalent to Canon 300mm f/2.8)

Nikon 600mm f/4.0 (Equivalent to Canon 600mm f/4.0)
