I'm brand new to the world of photography and am really enjoying the Flickr experience.

I'm a third generation Floridian (Tampa Bay area) and have been married to a Texan for since 1997. We have actually been together since 1982, so it has been an eternity - or so it seems!!

We have one furry child, Bear, a female tiger-stripped kitty, who is the focus of a lot of my photos. She was a stray at our car lot for the first 7 months of her life, sleeping in and under cars and boats and making sure anyone who wandered on our lot had the pleasure of meeting and playing with her.

When it was time for her to be fixed, she never returned to the car lot; she has become the most personable condominium cat that we've ever seen. We both adore her and her antics!!

My husband and I own an automotive-based business, and are working toward our retirement goal of 10 years. We seem to be on track, even with these financially trying times.

I look forward to meeting a lot of creative and unique people on Flickr and am determined to better myself in the wonderful world of photography.
