Suffolk Wildlife Trust
Drag to set position!
Suffolk Wildlife Trust is the county's leading conservation charity dedicated to all wildlife. Our aim is to create a Living Landscape where wildlife flourishes in our countryside, towns and villages. We care for more than 50 nature reserves and our conservation advisors work with farmers and local communities to improve their land for wildlife and create networks of linked up habitat across Suffolk.
We are a membership organisation and are supported by more than 25,000 members. Action for wildlife, supported by local people has always been Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s strength. We enjoy the dedicated support of volunteers in all areas of our work – equating to over 30 active volunteers for each member of paid staff.
Environmental education is a major part of our work, each year the Trust works with more than 1000 children through school based activities and family events. We believe this helps foster an understanding and lifelong enjoyment of the natural world.
