born in jersey.

spent twelve years in san francisco (1988-2000) where i was mostly a musician in several bands: tallow, towel, bashed little monkey, fluffgirl, men's recovery project. i also repaired electronics, drove a cab, worked in theater, mixed live sound and tended bar (chameleon, nightbreak, klub komotion, various warehouse spaces).

then to brooklyn where i worked as a carpenter and electrician, did a bunch of behind the scenes film and tv work, stage managed a play at la mama (a high point), and did some acting and music.

then three years in new orleans, which i'm still processing, but that is where i finally caught the photography bug.

now i'm back in brooklyn, taking pictures, writing, teaching my niece and nephew how to play the drums and guitar, doing renovations and looking for creative outlets.
