Until recently, I've been limited to the cheap digital point and shoots. But recently, I've started shooting with film, especially black and white. I don't know why, maybe cause it creates such rough images. I've even started creating my own darkroom so I can keep more control over the developing process. Sure, I can mimic many of the effects using a decent DSLR and software, but the art is as much in the process as the final project.

My preferred subject matter is still pretty diverse. Some macro photography, landscapes, portraits, etc. Every once in a while, I come up with an idea (or attempt to recreate something I see on flickr) and just experiment. I'm not worried about being some great photographer, just personally creative.
