Snapshots:

Look, point, click and look again. The digital camera is an amazingly convenient invention (construction) for vernacular photography and documenting fading memories. It allows anyone to be a photographer and enhances the many ways of seeing and recording events, moods and thoughts. I simply take snapshots of my travels, locations, people, friends and family. The snapshots are archives for my fading memories and a bridge from forgetfulness. Sometimes the snapshots turn out to be more than just an archive – providing reinvented stories and little treasures of people, subjects, simple or complex shapes (composition), form, light and shade, colour, mood and textures to be savoured and shared in various ways.
