I knew Jimmy's photography for sometime before I got to know the person. Jimmy's photography is eye catching and diverse. His ability to capture emotion in people and in scene's is second to none. When I got to know Jimmy personally I found a true friend and a great and caring person. Jimmy is an inspiration and an encouragement to me. I got to know Jimmy as a team mate when we worked together as team mates in 'The Island', a survivor like game run in a group we were both part of. together we had great fun and extended ourselves as photographers!

I have been behind the camera for many years, so every time I look at an image I see what that photographer saw through their view finder. I know how he stood, how she held the camera, how far away he was... I know when I am viewing exceptional artistry when I see an image that takes me out from behind the camera and makes me believe in the impossible. That's what Jimmy Su's images do for me. I gaze into his works of art and forget that there was a camera involved, forget that there was a human, a mind, a body behind the creation of that image. Landscapes as only a bird could see them, portraits as only a fly could know. Truly outstanding vision.

My friend Jimmy, my most inspirational, influential and supportive friend Jimmy........... Of they many things i have to thank "Flickr " for, my meeting Jimmy would have to be top of the list. An insanely talented photographer, his work in my opinion is second to none, with varied approaches, techniques and subject matter, Jimmy puts heart and soul into it, if it doesn't catch your breath, you can feel the warmth and goodness, his consideration to everything he does shines through everytime. His images are truly awsome in terms of vision, composition, subject and quality. I for one am inspired by his photos and will be attempting to emulate some of his HDR images.
