When I view and enjoy Ramon's photography I feel he is reading people with an inner affinity in some way .... The people who he photographs are often pondering life, in deep thought, maybe dreaming, possibly setting the world to rights but their thoughts always show on their faces as a tangible form of humanity. The important thing is that we move through his photo presentation knowing that his subjects are approachable .... if we just resonate in the same key ... There is also sometimes a creative accessory - a bike dropped carelessly to the sandy beach... which says it all. His work flows on ...just as in one of his photographs ... Even in a frozen, snow covered stream, water flows constantly and for his work I hope honest human empathy continues to flow and bridge the space between photographer and the rest of humanity.
