Photography has been my "serious Hobby" since November 2008 when I was given a DSLR (Sony A200) for my birthday.

I've since graduated to the A700 which is a fantastic camera and will provide me with many happy years of shooting. My favourite lens is the Sony16-105mm which is really versatile and very useful as an everyday walkabout lens. I also use the Sigma 10-20mm and I've just acquired a Sony 70-300mm G lens.

My preference is shooting landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes though later in 2011 I will be moving into the world of portraiture and wedding photography.

In November 2010 I was awarded LRPS by the Royal Photographic Society which was an exceptionally proud moment for me and gave me the idea that I must be doing something right.

I love browsing through my contacts photos on Flickr, there are some great photographers out there who produce truly inspirational images.
