Studio Mango was formed in 2005 by TU Delft students Paul Hendrikx and Frank Hanssen, initially they started designing products for the professional and consumer market assigned to them by companies. In the evening hours time was spent on creating creative objects in the shape of: furniture, lighting, accessories and electronics. It wasn’t before long that several labels noticed the work of Studio Mango and commissioned them to create collections for them. After winning several international awards for their work, the studio had become more then a hobby for the duo who graduated in 2007. Only then were they able to give Studio Mango full priority, and not without success, within 6 months internationally well known companies like: Nokia, Checkpoint METO and Eneco Energy were clients of the Studio. Besides the growing number of large projects there is still a strong emphasis on creating the most adorable and clever design items. Talented Brazilian designer Rafael Morgan was added to the product development team in 2007 to make this happen even more. The motto for the products we develop: no more of the same please, we are committed to creating the most original items the world has seen.
