Polymer clay artist on the weekends and some evenings. Wife and mom all the time. Physical Therapist Assistant 5 days a week.

My beads, pendants and brooches are all handmade by me. I use polymer, a colored low bake clay. Some of the colors are premixed, some I blend. I also use metal leaf, acrylic paints, and various textures in my designs. I finish each piece by sanding and buffing or with a varnish to achieve my desired effect.

I have been working with polymer since 2001, learning initially through books. I have also learned much from other very generous polymer clay artists from around the world, on the web and in person through retreats and classes.

My pieces are for sale through a few store fronts and I participate in arts and crafts shows occasionally. I’ve also been known to sell off my body.

I sell my heart brooches for my favorite local charity, with all the proceeds going directly to the charity.
