Copan is a Colorado based photographer and ceramic artist who earned her B.F.A. in Ceramics and Photography from The Cleveland Institute of Art.

During school, she worked in one of northeast Ohio's last wet labs (Studio K Photography) and processed color film, medium format films, slide film, and black & white film.

She was formerly full time staff photographer for the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, and now shoots exclusively freelance.

As owner and lead photographer at Studio Copan, she specializes in sports and event photography, creative portraiture, commercial, architectural, and travel photography.

Her photos have been used by USAToday, The Associated Press, Military Times, Stars and Stripes Magazine, The DailyMail, Competitor Magazine, and TravelHost Magazine.

Current freelance clients are The Gazette, Glenwood Springs Post Independent, The American Numismatic Association, New Balance, FloFoto, MaxPreps/CBS Sports amongst others.

She recently returned from a two-year photography assignment in the Middle East.
