11-26-2005 An Intimate Game of Chess

2005 has been an interesting year in photography for me. I started the year by making 2 main resolutions (Photography related). 1) To use my camera everyday. And 2) Post a decent picture to my photoblog everyday. Well the first resolution I was able to keep up with for about 7 months. I have shot tens of thousands of pictures (over 30,000 ) and basically averaged several pictures a day for the year. The second resolution I have actually made it through to the end. I can proudly say that this is the only resolution, in my entire life, that I was able to keep/complete.

This year I have made only one resolution and that is to take what I have learned last year and improve upon it. Take more time in setting up my shots. Shoot with a more thought out purpose. Pay more attention to detail before and after the shot. Continue to learn post-processing techniques in PhotoShop. I would like to continue to post an image a day but with my effort to improve the art I don't know if it will be possible. I will try though.

So, if you like what you see on my PhotoStream, please leave a comment, make it a favorite or add me as a contact.
