I love both drawing with pencil and folding paper. The graphite drawings tend to be dark, surreal, and filled with detail, exploring themes of construction/destruction and unconventional notions of beauty and serenity. Origami allows me to explore both mathematics and art simultaneously, and I am especially drawn to the possibilities of infusing everyday objects with origami tessellations to make the mundane beautiful.
