Ok, So, I'm not really sure what to say here.

The short story: I picked up my first SLR about 6 years ago and started taking pictures of things I likes. People, sports, street photography, landscapes. I have a small studio that mainly does senior portraits and wedding videography. My most difficult subject is my 3 year old daughter because she just can't sit still. My goals are:

1: Become a better photographer

2: Have My work published

3: Become a photojournalist.

4: Be a KNOWN Egyptian-American Photographer (I'm from Egypt by the way)

The Long Story: About 6 years ago, my wife allowed me to buy my first SLR. At that point I new nothing about SLR. I knew how to use P&S, and i was pretty good at it, but that was really about it. I started experimenting with a Canon Rebel X 35mm. Several hundred rolls of film later I came to some understandings of light, exposure, apature, composition and a true understanding of those ISO numbers and their effect on pictures.

A couple of years ago i was able to switch to digital and the learning curve jumped to where I consistently looked like I knew what I was doing. I spent (and I still do) lot of time reading photography books and magazines in an effort to teach myself new things. I'm still developing and there are many people on my list that I look up to. I analyze their style, shots and perspectives to learn how they develop their shots.
