I want to thank all members of the Flickr community who have given me feedback on my images since I joined Flickr 10 years ago. Since that time. I embarked on an amazing journey that took me around the world, visiting 23 countries in one year starting June 15, 2014 in Iceland. My family accompanied me, and of course my camera and tripod was always within arm's reach. During that time I was traveling, I did not post images while on the road, as I was going as light as possible (no laptop). Since my return in May of 2015, I have been busy editing and posting images from the journey and adding new photographic journeys both domestically and internationally. Meanwhile, my best wishes to all of you and my hope for you is that you make extraordinary photographs that you share with the world.

Some people have asked me about my camera and favorite lenses. I'm currently using a Canon 5DsR. Mostly I'm using a 16-35 mm ultrawide Canon lens, a 24-105 mm Canon telephoto, and a Canon 70-200 mm 2.8/f. I also carry a Canon 100mm-400mm for wildlife with a 1.4X teleconverter. My camera is nearly always on a Gitzo or Really Right Stuff tripod equipped with a Really Right Stuff BH-55 ballhead.
