Stringbean's collection is smaller, but considerably more succulent overall than what I'm used to seeing here. Her photos reveal an interest in color, form, and subject that is very personal and deliberate. Her photos of baked goods, for instance, convey her pride in their creation, as though she thinks of them as little works of art -- which they are. The same is true of other photos, the urban ones in particular, which seem to capture and communicate how she feels about what she photographs and invites the viewer to share in her experience.
