To me, pictures we take should represent the way we see and relate to the world (and not what everyone would like to see - photoshoped colors, perfect smiles, sunshine, lollipops, rainbows...).
My view of the modern world is too often blurry, out of focus and badly composed, with unimportant details sticking out... sometimes black and white and sometimes (too) brightly colored... but mostly just strange.
And that is why I love film photography. Especially toy and lo-fi cameras.
