This Page will be dedicated to my artwork alone. So this will just be photos of my artwork. I've been into oil painting for about 6 years now. I'm currently messing around with various ideas. My most recent projects envolved working with wood and paper cut outs and ink. My main focus is not necessarily on thematic issues but more on technical and visual, "Trompel'oeil". I enjoy fooling the eye through thickness of paint and exibiting a push and pull between foreground and background. What is supposed to be the background in a piece can become more prominent through the thickening and visual manipulation. I enjoy trees. They remind me of abstract paintings. I try to exemplify this through some of the paintings as well. Taking what is supposed to be real, keeping the real but showing it's abstract nature. Well, I just absolutely love art and I shall continue to explore it's non existent boundaries!
As Far as Continuing This is a new update as of July 28, 2007...>>>>I'm exploring new mediums, one of which is ink. I'm playing with ideas of interpretation and natural fluidity. I've been using the force of air to blow ink on canvas, sometimes in a controlled way, and sometimes in a non controllable way.

UPDATE AS OF OCTOBER 2007!!!!
As of late, I have been experimenting and working with a bunch of new and exciting ideas. I have been been working thematically with ideas of combining art and science, connectivity through cellular volume, and the nature of the body and psyche. So keep a look out for some fresh stuff.
UPDATE AS OF DECEMBER 2010!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello! Just a friendly update on my whereabouts. I'm now living and working in Austin, TX.
Artist Statement: When I was younger, my imagination would take me away. It was the kind of imagination that could turn a ripped piece of wallpaper into a bunny reaching for a carrot, wood grain on a table into people dancing and faces laughing, a crack in a sidewalk or shadow on a wall into new landscapes of endless possibilities and beauty. Today, I maintain this imaginative spirit within my work. By combining an external input of materials used with the internal output of my thoughts, emotions, symbols, and images, I am able to give way to organic narratives and fluid like imagery that coincide with the natural fluidity of living life in the moment.
By using circle clusters, blown ink, wood grain, dripping paint, and organic forms while working in a spontaneous and subconscious manner, I showcase this fluidity by allowing the inner child to emerge. The inner child then contrasts with the inevitable intermingling of themes of adulthood. Following the inner child thus becomes an escape, a place of pure spontaneity and sub-consciousness that leaves behind surreal imagery of mysterious origins. Leaving the artwork open-ended allows for a hope that the viewer too can escape, connecting up with their own childhood fantasies. My work reinvents and restates a world that exists before the confines of the structured life we are taught to live take control.
