Artist Statement

  

MICHIE KOBAYAKAWA ' s work is a new approach to entering dream-states with

awakening.

 

Quest of the transformation of the particle stream.

 

To become half-passive and half-active state by moving with the inner

core energy, body will start to flow in the energetic stream field.

 

Once we connect with this stream consciousness through the practice,

we can feel very subtle, and very deep primitive energy which penetrate

in us and universe.

 

Her art work is a result of the quest for the possibility of the body as a healing hand.

She convert her inner experience into the 2 or 3 dimensional world rather than express something.

She perceive a motion of the light which penetrate in the multidimension in spiral or fluidly, and gives life to them.

She calms down her consciousness , and listens to the subtle voice in the space.

 

She just resonates with what silence behaves like .

  

Curriculum vitae

  

She was born in Japan and brought up in the zen buddhist family.

She was majored in Indian culture and philosophy at the university in japan, and goes over to India after it graduates.

She spent many years in her twenties in India and got the opportunity to teach her own body method called as a " Stream Technique ".

Her art work is based on her own carrier as a dance teacher and spiritual seeker.

ダンサー、身体技法研究家

 

シャーマン、変性意識の領域を瞑想と動きを通じて探索し続けています。

 

大学でインド思想専攻卒業後、渡印。

２０代のほとんどをインドのヒマラヤの麓で過ごす中で、

古来より伝わる、アジア人の精神性を重んじる身体感への理解を深める。

  

また、東欧の廃墟となったシナゴーグや防空壕跡地をはじめ、世界各地で精霊が宿るさまざまな空間での舞踏公演、CI、即興演劇、コンテンポラリーダンスワークショップ活動に携わる中、2002年より、独自の身体技法を教える機会に恵まれる。

からだの光の螺旋と、皮膜という特別な領域を目覚めさせ、内側のほんの小さなゆらぎに耳を澄ませながら、それを増幅させ、流動化させていく身体技法を基軸に、その中で培われた感覚を平面、立体の次元でも表現しています。

  

半分能動、半分受動という特殊な状態をつくりだしながら、からだの内側の流れと外側の流れを一体化させていくこの技法は、深層から生命本来の自由な動きが蘇り、しなやかで流れるようなからだと心に変容させていきます。

  

この技法が、自分自身と、他者、そして場に対する新しい癒しと創造の身体技法となっていくように、日々練習をつんでいます。
