In what seems to have been an epiphany on a walk on a snowy december afternoon in 2010 my need for photography was re-awakened.

So, equipped with a Canon EOS 550D I'm now ready to continue what had been silently asleep for a few years. It's far more rewarding shooting RAW with a DSLR than measly JPEG with a zoom point and shoot (my previous Minolta Dimage Z1).

I'm slowly building up my gear, but so far I've got the two kit lenses 18-55 and 55-250, and the nifty fifty 50mm/1.8 II. I also "upgraded" my tripod from an old 750g Fujiyama Moonlight to the Slik Pro 700DX weighing in at 3.6 kg with the three-way head.

Since 2014 I've moved up to a full frame Canon 6D with a 24-105 f/4L, a 70-200 f/4L and a Sigma 105 mm f/2.8 Macro. Now there are no excuses anymore :).

Rebooting 2020: I hope this is the year to get back into proper photography again. Same 6D, but looking at maybe going for mirrorless within the coming year.

I love freedom, so I license my pictures as freely I find necessary. Mostly cc-by and cc-by-nc-sa.
