Hi, I'm Simon. 20 years of age (manufactured in 1988) and living my happy live in the Netherlands.

Since 2007, i am a great lover of everything that makes photographics, Included myself. In 2007 i buy myself a digital single lens reflector (A.K.A.: D-SLR). The first D-SLR was the fabuloius and one of the most sold consumer-camera's: Canon EOS 400D, and within 1 month, i add a batterygrip on it.

Months later, i was looking for more reach of focal lenght and i add the Canon EF 28-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS USM to my collection (i already own the kit lens: Canon EF 18-55 f/3.5-5.6II) and heave some real fun with this lens. 3 weeks after that, i was looking for a really heavy and really sturdy tripod (on that moment, i'v got the Luxon tripod, wich i found to weak and instable). so the next must be near to me-proof (and i like it to put things on my own destruction tests: all off them failled). The Manfrotto 055XDB was the one i buy and wich is affordable for me, and of course, i need a pan or ball head for it. It's the Manfrotto 322RC2 ballhead i'm use.

Weeks later, i need mor and further zoom reach, and take myself a Canon EF 70-200 f/4L USM. But i was more and more outside of my home, in rain, in sunshine, in snow, or other stormy weathers. For that reason i'v buyed the Canon EOS 40D and it's additional batterygrip. And from that moment till now (July 2008 till November 2008) i am the lucky owner of the Canon Speedlite 430EX and 580EXII, the Canon EF 24-105 f/4L IS USM.

My wishlist for 2009 is filled with:

Canon EOS 1Ds MarkIII or Canon EOS 5D MarkII (both have the same resolution, 1Ds is more sturdy and weather sealed).

Canon EF 300 f/4L IS USM (prime lens) and some extenders.

For now this is it.
