Hi Everyone, I am Sneha Rathod. I live and work in Pune, India. I am Software Engineer by Profession and an Art lover by Religion.

How it all started?

It all started when I joined my post graduation Programme in Pune. My friends used to praise me for the snaps I used to take using my mobile phone or someone else's camera in day to day life and trips. I was praised for the perfect timings. And then one day a friend of mine told me about all these online courses that are available and that sharpen your skills. I started reading them, trying out different things.Taking the tutorials head on.

I even photographed friend's wedding, Bride and Groom, friends and their families loved my photos more than their original Traditional photographer's photos :) Another boost.Plus My Parents were told by my friend's family members that I click great Moments, encouraged me more. I did a friend's photoshoot. I wish I had a good camera at that time but still my friend and her parents both loved the pictures.

I get encouraged by the comments and all I receive online on my Photos on Flicker, Megashot.net, etc.

I was using Canon Powershot SX 130 IS digital camera. It allows me to set Aperture, Shutter time, etc when I am in mood for experiments :D. Later I bought DSLR Nikon 5100 for fun.

I do take friends' DSLR NIkon 3100 occasionally like during wedding or general weekend trips or friends photoshoot.

What photography internships or apprenticeships have contributed to your training?

I have not attended any photography course uptil now. Its just the online readings and general comments on Megashot that are helping me build.

I love shooting Nature,Candid moments, Streets and Glitz and glam of Wedding. I have also tried my hands on Jewellery photography. I love to capture moments and scenes.

Awards, Uptil Now, I have just won once. Best photo in a Nature competition at Avaya India Pvt Ltd nothing else.
