"To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the Palm of Your Hand
And Eternity in an Hour."
William Blake
Photography mesmerizes me, while literally offering a more focused view of the world. It also works like a peephole through time and space; both intriguing. My first photographs are more than 60 years old by now and sometimes I still use my toy camera Harmony.
Generally I like the idea of making the picture ready and done while shooting but nowadays I edit some of them in different apps to take my photographs one step further. Sometimes I paint or in other ways manipulate prints and then re-shoot it. Always prefer handheld and no flash.
I first attempted digital photography in 2008 when I bought a Sony Ericsson K800i. So much effortless fun was just what I needed to get back on the picture track. After using a variety of iPhones I now use a Huawei P30Pro but also work with my beloved Canon EOS 80D. For film I still use my Pentax Lx and can never resist vintage cameras at flea markets...
