-Retired professional; Reads Victorian-period literature; Loves classical music: (orchestral, opera, chamber); Serious nature walking (tramping, not technical climbing or speed walking); macro and scenic photography; Amateur botanist.

-Photograph with natural light, no wind protection. Too impatient to use tripod. Tremor increases. Close focus with bifocals difficult. Have nearly given up on macro work - alas. A stabilizing lens may work, but not well enough, or fast exposures, either. The exposures are not technically 'sharp.' The digital is not as sharp as the old color slides. Mostly, I don't edit the color settings, but use Photoshop when necessary.
