What is the Stop the War Coalition?

The Stop the War Coalition was formed on September 21st 2002 in response to George Bush's war on terror.

Our aim is simple - to stop the 'war on terror' declared by the United States and its allies like the UK. A war that has resulted in millions of innocent dead, untold suffering, political and economic instability on a global scale, increased racism and attacks on civil liberties.

Who are we?

People from all walks of life, including anti-war activists, peace organisations, trade unions, religious groups, social campaign groups and MP's.

We work closely with Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND), British Muslim Innitiative (BMI), Muslim Association of Britain (MAB), Palestinian Solidarity Campaign (PSC) and anti-war campaign groups from across the globe.
