About me

Civil servant by day, photographer by evenings and weekends. Photography is my passion, I'd like to reduce the former in favour of the latter.

Flickr is where I post my creative photographs, and where I'm most active online. I am also available for various photographic services in the York and Pocklington area - events, portraits, commissions and corporate work. Check out my website for more information about that.

I'm inspired by photographers and photography groups here on Flickr and out in the real world. I don't feel as though I have a particular style or specialism. If anything, I would say that diversity and experimentation are my main photographic traits. I just like to try new things out and make nice pictures.

Some of my photos are straight out the camera, some are tweaked after the event, some are heavy processed and some are pure creations using other people's work.

All the photos I post here are available for non-commercial use. This means you can use them in your blogs, newsletters and other non-profit work, but you can't sell them, use them in advertising or help yourself for one of your t-shirts
